Processing of Personal Data

At Dukin d.o.o., we understand how important the security of individuals’ personal data is, which is why we carefully comply with and implement the applicable national and European legislation in this field.

We process personal data in order to provide the best user and consumer experience related to our products and services, while also ensuring the highest level of diligence regarding security and confidentiality when storing and processing your personal data.

All our actions related to personal data are in accordance with the applicable personal data protection legislation. We make sure that your personal data are stored appropriately and with due care, we provide appropriate control over the purposes of processing your personal data, and we enable you to exercise all the rights you have under the applicable legislation.

As an individual you have the right to request:

  • to be informed which of your personal data we process and for what purposes;
  • rectification of your personal data if they are incomplete or inaccurate in our records;
  • transfer (portability) of personal data from our filing system to another processor or controller;
  • objection where the processing is intended for direct marketing, including profiling.

Legal Bases for Processing

Dukin d.o.o. processes your personal data only if it has a legal or other lawful basis. We process data on the following bases:

  • your explicit consent provided via the contact form and through the use of web analytics;
  • for the performance of a contract concluded between us as the service provider and you as the customer;
  • for taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;
  • legitimate interests, primarily relating to the direct marketing of our services; and
  • compliance with legal obligations, especially in the event of non-fulfilment of contractual obligations and related appropriate measures.

Data We Process and Our Purpose

Data obtained via the contact form and online purchase

Data obtained via the contact form include your first and last name, phone number, email address, and the service(s) you require. We collect them securely. We use them to respond to your inquiry / perform obligations arising from the sales contract and for further business cooperation. We do not use these data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly agree to such use.

Data obtained on the basis of a concluded contract

Data obtained under a concluded contract include the first name, last name, email address, phone number of the contact person, and the delivery address. In the case of a sale to a legal entity, we also collect the tax number. We need these data to ensure smooth operations, issue invoices, and, at a later stage, for potential debt recovery.

Data obtained from public records

For the purpose of marketing our services, we advertise on various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), using data obtained with the help of advertising tools. We do not have access to specific personal data through these tools; instead, based on anonymised data we can profile visitors to our website. Our intention is to target our marketing to those interested in advertising services and to serve them appropriate ads.

To ensure the best user experience on our website, we use the advanced web analytics tool Google Analytics. The purpose is to ensure that the website works smoothly for you as a user and to optimise it for the benefit of all our visitors.

As a user of our website, you have the right, immediately upon visiting the homepage, not to consent to the processing of these data. You can avoid such processing by setting cookies appropriately when visiting the website or by adjusting the cookie settings in the browser you use.

If you decide to consent to the use of web analytics, you can do so in the same way as you disabled or refused it. You can change this on the homepage. If you consent to processing (accept cookies on the site), we obtain your anonymised IP address. This means that all your personal data are encrypted and are not available to us.

Rights of Individuals Whose Personal Data Are Processed

Individuals whose personal data we process have the right to request from Dukin d.o.o.:

  • access to personal data,
  • rectification of personal data,
  • erasure of personal data from the filing system, and
  • restriction of the processing of their personal data.

As an individual, you also have the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. You can exercise your rights by sending a written request by email to info@dukin.eu.

We will decide on your request within one month of its receipt. This period may be extended by up to two additional months in cases of complexity and a large number of requests, of which you will be informed.

Right of Access / Information on Processing

You always have the right to know whether personal data concerning you are being processed. Where this is the case, we will provide access to your personal data and the following information:

  • the purpose(s) of the processing;
  • the categories of personal data concerned;
  • the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed;
  • the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; and
  • where the personal data are not collected from you, any available information as to their source.

Information on the processing of personal data is free of charge, unless the individual’s requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive character. In such cases, the controller may charge a reasonable fee (administrative costs) or refuse to act on the request.

Right to Rectification

By law, you have the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning you corrected and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, the right to have incomplete personal data completed.

Right to Erasure

You have the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data where one of the following grounds applies:

  • the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
  • you withdraw consent and there is no other legal ground for the processing;
  • you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds; or
  • the personal data have been unlawfully processed.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to obtain the restriction of processing where one of the following applies:

  • you contest the accuracy of the data (for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the data);
  • the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead;
  • we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
  • you have objected to processing based on legitimate interests, pending verification of whether our legitimate grounds override yours.

Where processing has been restricted, such personal data shall, with the exception of storage, be processed only with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person. You will be informed before the restriction is lifted.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data to another controller where the processing is based on your consent or is carried out by automated means. Where technically feasible, the data may be transmitted directly to another controller.

Right to Object

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests for marketing purposes, including profiling, you may object to such processing at any time.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Information Commissioner

If we do not decide on your request within the statutory time limit or if we reject your request, you have the option to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner (Slovenia).

Personal Data Retention Period

We store data no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or further processed, or until the expiry of limitation periods for the fulfilment of obligations or the legally prescribed retention period.

Subscriber/customer data processed on a legal basis is retained after termination of the service relationship until full payment for the services, but no longer than the limitation period for claims relating to the performance of services or fulfilment of the contract, unless a longer retention period is prescribed by law.

Other data obtained on the basis of your consent are retained for the duration of the cooperation and for an additional 2 years after its termination, unless a longer retention period is prescribed by law. If a customer who has given consent for the processing of personal data has not entered into a business relationship with us, their consent is valid for 2 years from submission. As a taxable person, we must ensure the retention of invoices for 10 years after the end of the year to which the invoices relate.

After the retention period has expired, data are deleted, destroyed, blocked or anonymised, unless otherwise provided by law for a particular category of data.

Final Provisions

If certain areas are not regulated by these terms of personal data processing, the applicable legislation shall apply. We reserve the right to amend these processing terms. We will inform you of any changes by publishing them on the official website or in another appropriate manner. Changes will be published one month prior to entering into force on the official website.

These processing terms shall apply from 18/08/2025.
